Hypnotherapy for Anxiety
Anxiety hypnosis treatments are widely accepted and recognisable, as a genuine form of treatment, and listed on the NHS website as an alternative form of therapy.
Hypnotherapy can help a person suffering from anxiety by using suggestions when the mind is in a relaxed and focused state to instill positive thoughts, reprogramming the brain and subconscious mind to think better thoughts and bring about positive changes. In addition using NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) techniques further changes can be brought about. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique is also taught) giving the client an additional tool that they themselves can use to help overcome anxiety.
During the anxiety hypnosis therapy, the root causes of anxiety will be discussed during the consultation. In addition a personalised recording will be given to the client.
For a client never having experienced hypnosis before, please understand you are always in control, your mind will simply not accept anything that you do not want to accept and your mind always accepts what it thinks is in your best interest. Hypnosis simply just allows you to relax, and listen and your mind will take in whatever positive suggestions you want it to. You can have complete peace of mind that the sessions are completely confidential and non judgemental.
Two sessions are recommended in order to give the client the maximum benefits of a full program of hypnosis, NLP and EFT. The recommended program also involves a commitment from the client of 20 minutes each day for 21 days to practice the techniques given and gain maximum benefits.
